Your Dark Passenger

Well, I haven’t heard the thundering, resounding complaints of anyone against the new format.  Looks like it might just be time to roll it out since the only feedback has been positive.  And yes, I am aware that 24 hours is hardly enough time to determine if all y’all are on-board, but that’s how I roll, yo!  Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-haaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahem…anyway…moving on.

Here’s how this is going to work now: Each day will have a theme and we’re starting it tomorrow.  Let’s get the bad news over…no vampires tomorrow.  Sorry.  They go on a different day on the schedule.  So without further ado…

• Mental Mondays - Each Monday we’ll delve into mental illness and the darkness it brings with it.  And since I have to find a balance, we’ll also spend some time looking at the more interesting phobias out there.
• Talk to Me Tuesdays - Let’s face it, everyone has some sort of an obsession…or a habit…or a hang-up…or even an addiction.  And how to we get passed these things?  Well, we talk it out; admit something’s up and put it out there.  I mean, we’re all people and so many of us have been there - in varying degrees.  I’ll start it off this week by talking about my personal poison and in future weeks we can talk about whatever y’all want, as long as you drop some comments with suggestions or use the contact page.  And if you don’t, well…I’ll think of something.
• WTF Wednesdays - Do I really need to explain this one?  You get the drift.  Hump day has never been so much fun!
• True Crime Thursdays - Here’s where we can dip our toes over the line to wild side of the street.  Sure, we can get into all sorts of crime, but I have to say, I have an affinity for serial killers so you can expect that on the table until y’all cry uncle.
• Fang Bangin’ Fridays - *lets out a sigh*  Hubby is so proud of this name.  I think it sounds a little too “True Blood” for my taste, but I gotta give him a way to claim he does all my writing for me every once and a while.  Anyway, this will be our day for vampire goodness.  Real vampires, movie vampires, book vampires, sanguinarian vampires, psi vampires and anything else you can thing of will be here.  I’ve got maybe two more parts in the current vampire series we’re on, after that I’m open to some new vampy goodness.  If you’ve got a request then send it my way.  I love researching this stuff!!!
• Supernatural Saturdays - Don’t say it…I know they use this on BBC America; it was just too perfect not to use.  So, we’ll hit all sorts of paranormal-ness here - except for vampires.  They’ve already got their day.
• Spiritual Sampling Sundays -  I’ll be really upfront about this y’all; I have my own beliefs.  I bet you do too.  Sundays aren’t going to turn into my day to pull out my soapbox and go to town on a religious rant.  It’s not my style.  What I want to use this time for is to take a look at all the faiths and beliefs around the world.  (It’ll take me quite a while to hit ‘em all, but a gal can dream.)  Here’s the promise I’ll make you my readers: I will not put a Christian spin on each week’s post.  I will be fair and unbiased.  By that, of course, I mean that I’ll highlight the good stuff before I begin to point out all the things that are a little tough to believe…and I’ll do it with ALL of ‘em.  Well, okay, I’ll do it with all of them until I piss off the wrong higher being or power and get smited to oblivion and beyond.  Hmm…or I might just go with the journalistic route, but that’s hardly fun, now is it?

And that’s our week, peeps.  We’ll have some fun.  We’ll tell some ghost stories.  We’ll talk about heartache and pain.  We’ll take bets on how many weeks it takes for me to get smited.  I know it will be entertaining.
