Your Dark Passenger

What up, fellow dark passengers?  In honor of those out there who celebrate Christmas I have decided to fore-go posting for WTF Wednesdays and True Crime Thursdays.  Call me sentimental, but after holding up my glow-stick (in lieu of a candle because y’all so know I’d be the one to drop it accidentally and burn down the church if given the opportunity) while singing ‘O Holy Night’ I just don’t find myself in the mood to say WTF or getting into the dark psyche of a killer.

But not to fear…Fang Bangin’ Friday is still on because we need to chat about how you can shield yourself if you’ve fallen victim to an unscrupulous psi-vampire.  I haven’t forget.  In fact, I might actually write the post tomorrow and set it to go live on the site first thing Friday to get the Fang Bangin’ off to an…erm…bite.

So…to all of you who are spending these days with family and friends, enjoy the time you have with them and be thankful for what you have in these turbulent economic times.  Remember always - especially now - that your worth is not determined by your material possessions or the gifts you give, but by the hearts you touch.

And if family bonding time is getting to be a bit much for you…grit your teeth and smile as it comes but once a year.

Now, to all the dark passengers out there who find themselves in varying degrees of alone-ness, please please keep in mind that being alone does NOT necessarily have to mean you are lonely.  Though you may physically be alone, you never really are.  If you are a spiritual person then you may take that to mean your higher power…and if you aren’t, well…I’m here.

Sounds crazy, right?  I know.  I’m not actually sitting there on your couch, munching on popcorn and watching a movie with you, but I can still care - and for whatever reason, I DO find myself compelled to care for those I never have and never will meet.

So I guess, let’s open this up today.  If you have anything to say, any messages you feel the need to get out there or if you just have a story to share about where you are in your life right now.  Open forum today; share and connect.  You aren’t alone.
