Happy Sunday, dark passengers.  Clearly this isn’t Friday as planned.  Whoops. Time, it seems, has a way of moving too quickly for me.

Welcome back, dark passengers. Four quick updates and then we’ll dive right into tonight’s topic.

1.  Ritual Awakening, Part 1 of the Denying Destiny Trilogy, begins on the full moon (aka July 7th). Check out the prologue and summary information only on Your Littlest Sin.
2. Your Dark Passenger has been lucky enough (if you believe in luck, of course) to get the inside track on information from paranormal investigations going on in my neck of the woods.  Wanna hear what a ghost sounds like? Oh, yeah…I’ve got the EVP’s.  Wanna hear what’s like on a real investigation, not the hyped up Hollywood ones? It has been one crazy week, dark passengers.  I should have had loads of time to write but things got seriously out of hand.  I ended up going to the two hour psychic development class tonight and we worked on channeling.  I didn’t expect to be able to do anything, but…yeah.  More on that later.

Right now I want to talk about what kept me out late on Wednesday night.  One of the ladies at work had extra passes to the advance screening of The Proposal with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds.  I’ve only got this to say about it: “To the window!  To the wall!”

Fans of Lil’ Jon will already be on the bitches crawl part so I’ll give them a second to come back to the rest of us…

Anyway.  You know how the best parts of the movie are usually what they show in the previews and then the rest of the movie is total crap?  This movie was totally not like that.  Don’t get me wrong, the parts from the previews were still totally hilarious - even moreso when they were in context and not a bunch of clips strung together - but the stuff they didn’t show in the previews was even better.

Ryan Reynolds was yummy-licious, as usual.  Sandra Bullock was brilliant. I really enjoyed seeing them on screen together for sure.  I don’t usually recommend romantic comedies, but The Proposal is definitely one I’ll be seeing again so I highly recommend it to any of y’all!

Hey, dark passengers.  Guess who didn’t fall off the world?  Well…I’m guessing that would probably be most of us since gravity seems to be functioning properly, but the answer I was going for was me. Anyway.  Your Dark Passenger returns with a look at how psychic clutter can do more damage than the actual clutter taking up space in your home.

I think most of us can recognize the negative self-talk going on within our heads for what it really is - mental clutter - but what about some of the less obvious by-products of our day?  Do we recognize those as the potentially damaging weapons against our psyche that they really are?  Worse still, are most of us even capable of understanding how commonplace items can affect us on the spirit- or astral-levels?

To give you a bit of background, I’ve been reading a book on psychic self-defense - sadly, that I will not be recommending to you, not because of faulty information provided because the techniques in the first few chapters are really top notch, but instead because of the fact the authors seem incapable of writing like normal people.  I mean, sure, yeah, anything dealing with the metaphysical or paranormal or psychics seems to be handled with a sense of woo-wooness, but if you’re talking about a subject you deem to be serious then why handicap yourself by sounding like some nut-job named Mystica Moonbeam Goddess Earthfluff Continue Reading »
