Your Dark Passenger

I was supposed to be telling you about my imaginary cooking show tonight, but I got pulled into thinking about energy shifts. Specifically, I’m thinking about the speculated 2012 energy shift.

What’s gonna happen, y’all? Any peeps with better developed psychic gifts than mine care to share what you “know” with the rest of the class?

Wait…that’s more of a side note than the point. I was just reading a post over at Merry Meet where Tara shared a personal experience. You can read the details over there, but she mentions the year 2005 in relation to 2012.

Can it really just be a coincidence that what happened to her was 7 years before the big whatever?

Anyone who knows me knows I don’t believe in coincidence, so you know my answer. (Wanna see how many more times I can say “know”) I, of course, remember nothing from 2005 because I was self-involved and stressed out. I could easily have experienced an energy shift and mistaken it for anxiety or illness. Not like I was very attuned to the world around me back then.

What about you? Have you experienced an energy shift? I’m most interested in 2005 shifts, but any shift would rate on my psychic and paranormal fun meter.

For anyone blissfully unaware of the crisis meltdown panic levels around you, the Mayan calendar ends on December 21, 2012. There’s speculation that the world ends along with the calendar. There’s also speculation that our alien overlords will stop controlling us through government puppets and arrive in all their tentacled glory to rule over us all. (Man, I love conspiracy theories!)

A less dire 2012 theory states that December 21st is the day our planet - along with her inhabitants - will ascend to the plane of consciousness. On this plane, we gain more highly attuned senses, including intuition, and a sense of oneness with nature. In order to prepare us for ascension, shifts in energy occur. It’s further believed that more and more people will experience these energy shifts the closer we get to the big day.

Personally, I like the ascension theory because it’s one of the few hopeful 2012 thoughts out there. Like it or not, our combined positive and negative energies influence our reality. I choose to use my small bit of influence for a fluffy happy future. (Now that’s change I can believe in…)
