Happy weekend, dark passengers. I’ve been spending a lot of time lately wondering about whether you can ever escape your own psychic abilities. That must seem like an odd statement coming from someone who’s actively attempted to hone her gifts. I think it’s natural.
Personally, I find it exhausting to know how things are going to happen, how people feel, etc.
And I’m sick of hearing the TV when it’s on mute. It’s annoying.
For my part, I’ve put some serious effort into Continue Reading »

Hey, dark passengers. Guess who didn’t fall off the world? Well…I’m guessing that would probably be most of us since gravity seems to be functioning properly, but the answer I was going for was me. Anyway. Your Dark Passenger returns with a look at how psychic clutter can do more damage than the actual clutter taking up space in your home.
I think most of us can recognize the negative self-talk going on within our heads for what it really is - mental clutter - but what about some of the less obvious by-products of our day? Do we recognize those as the potentially damaging weapons against our psyche that they really are? Worse still, are most of us even capable of understanding how commonplace items can affect us on the spirit- or astral-levels?
To give you a bit of background, I’ve been reading a book on psychic self-defense - sadly, that I will not be recommending to you, not because of faulty information provided because the techniques in the first few chapters are really top notch, but instead because of the fact the authors seem incapable of writing like normal people. I mean, sure, yeah, anything dealing with the metaphysical or paranormal or psychics seems to be handled with a sense of woo-wooness, but if you’re talking about a subject you deem to be serious then why handicap yourself by sounding like some nut-job named Mystica Moonbeam Goddess Earthfluff Continue Reading »

Happy Monday, dark passengers! Today I’d like to discuss a topic that is very near and dear to my heart. Today we discuss how Empaths can shield themselves from all the psychic and emotional chatter in their heads.
As previously discussed, Empaths pick up on the emotions of others and may even take on those emotions as their own. Without shielding out those emotions, it can be difficult to think. Headaches are another common side effect of ineffective shielding.
Now, y’all may remember that I’ve told you that I’m an Empath. This last week I learned a new shielding technique. I’m actually excited about this one because Continue Reading »

Happy weekend, dark passengers. Today I’d like to announce a new category that I know at least a few of you will be excited about as it’s come up in comments from time to time. Your Dark Passenger will now feature a weekly - or as often as I go - segment on Developing Psychic Abilities.
Most of you may not know this, but I myself am a novice psychic who has been actively ignoring my psychic gifts for most of my life. I’ve recently found a group in my area to work on this so it’s time to stop running. Guess that had to end at some point, huh?
Anyway, each week that I go to the group and learn something new, I plan to share the exercises with you - along with anything odd that may have happened to me as a result.
Since I got sidetracked and won’t manage to get out my planned post for tonight like I thought I would, I thought I would share a bit of interesting data I’ve experience thus far…
- Wednesday Paranormal Investigation - I was sick for two days following this investigation. Without going into detail, I’ll just say that my psychic sensitivity was on high alert that night
- Weekend Paranormal Investigation - I was sick for a few days after this one as well. Empathic senses were through the roof on that one.
- Psychic Development Group - I’ve been suffering from migraines and tension headaches ever since I went to this on Thursday.
Something tells me there’s some sort of psychic shielding I need to be doing. Hopefully I figure it out soon…
