Welcome back to Conspiracy Week on Your Dark Passenger.  Today, we’ve got an extra-special conspiracy.  Today, we find out what happens when Conspiracy week meets WTF Wednesday.  Not to give it all away, but this is the topic that caused my hubby to send a text to his spiritual mentor to find out if God would be okay with him divorcing me if I actually believed this.

He said he was joking…but he sent the text anyway.

Before I get into what I possibly could have found on a conspiracy site and repeated to him that could nearly cost someone their marriage, I feel a little bit of a disclosure is necessary.  Please keep in mind that what is about to be presented is a theory that’s out there and not necessarily the opinion or belief of me, Your Dark Passenger, Today.com or any of the advertisers on this site.

Sorry to disappoint, dark passengers, but that’s not a ginormous joint in the picture; it’s a sage bundle used when performing a smudging.  Wait.  What?  You don’t know what a smudging is?

Looks like you’re in the right place because I happen to know a little something about the practice of smudging.

Why might one need to do a smudging?  In my case, I had a presence in my house that I very much wanted to no longer be hanging around.  There are any number of theories on what this particular entity was; however, I can say this was a highly negative, lower vibration kind of energy that would drive anyone bonkers.  As an Empath, I experience (more…)

Hi, dark passengers.  I’m still recovering from my little ghostly adventure last night, but it’s Psychic Week on Your Dark Passenger so we’d better get back to it, don’t you think? (But I will totally tell y’all about that wild night soon…)

So, here’s the question of the day:  Are psychics evil?  Are those with extra or enhanced senses gifted or cursed?  Is there something inherently wrong with those who feel or know things that have caused them to be damned?

I don’t think anyone really knows for sure, but let’s explore it anyway because I’ve got a theory or two about this.

Happy weekend, dark passengers.  I was struck by a thought as I watched one of my favorite movies with some of my friends last night.  Okay…maybe I had more than one thought in my head, but only one is really pertinent to anything Your Dark Passenger related.

Anyway.  The movie is ‘Equilibrium’ and it is awesome if you like cool fight scenes.  What I hadn’t noticed before were the strong anti-Christian undertones.  Perhaps that is an unfair assessment; however, there were some definite parallels there with the way some Christian evangelists have dealt with the conversion of those of other faiths.

Before I get into all that, let me bring those of you who’ve never heard of this movie up to speed.  Equilibrium is about a futuristic dystopian (the opposite of Utopia)society.  After a third devastating World War, the government of Libria have determined the baser nature of man is what is causing all of mankind’s strife.  They know society cannot handle being ripped apart by yet another fruitless war so they find and embrace their solution: (more…)

Hey dark passengers.  I probably should have mentioned this sooner, but I’m staying with a friend this week so Your Dark Passenger is on a mini-vacation.  Oh well.  Now you know…and knowing is half the battle. (G.I. Joe…Go Joe!)

Anyway, I was talking to my mom after I brought my sister home from the Twilight DVD Release Party a few weeks ago and the subject of guardian angels came up.  She shared with me something someone had once told her and it popped into my head this morning so I thought I’d share some of my more angelic thoughts with y’all.
